Choosing Your Roll Type

Front Roll (Over-Roll):

The standard default for most roller blinds.

Simple and clean look that prevents the bottom rail from colliding with window handles or frames.

Creates an air gap between the glass and fabric, providing a natural insulating and warming effect.

Back Roll (Under-Roll):

Roll falls closest to the glass, minimizing edge gaps to reduce the amount of light passing through.

Note: Please check for window handle interference before choosing this option, as the front of the roller tube remains exposed.

How to Measure Your Windows (NZ Self-Measuring Guide)

Ensure a flawless fit for your custom blinds by following our easy measuring guide (all measurements in millimeters).

Inside Fit (Recess Mount)

Mounted inside the window frame for a neat, stream-lined look.

Depth: Verify that your window frame depth is at least 40mm.

Width: Measure the top, middle, and bottom inside widths of the frame. Record the Top measurement.

Height: Measure the left, middle, and right inside heights. Record the longest measurement.

Outside Fit (Face Mount)

Mounted on the architrave or wall surrounding the window frame to minimize light gaps.

Width: Measure the outer edges of your window frame/architrave. Add 50mm–100mm total width for maximum coverage.

Height: Measure from the top mounting position to the bottom landing position. Add 50mm–100mm to cover the frame completely.
